M113 90V

The M113 series was an extremely popular carrier for self-propelled weapons. It provided the basic chassis for a wide variety of fire support vehicle, some of which could be classified as self-propelled artillery, tank destroyers, or light tanks, in both the United States and abroad. The M113 90V is a combination of various modifications for the M113 featuring 90 mm guns.

One US modification took the LP90 Cadillac Gage turret from the V-300 armored car and mounted it to the roof of a M113A1, utilizing the Cockerill Mk. III cannon equipped with a muzzle break to reduce the recoil force. Another modification took place in France, with an agreement between GIAT and FMC, resulting in a GIAT TS90 turret installed on a M113A2 and armed with the GIAT CS90 gun.

In World Of Tanks, the M113 90V is a step up from the M113 FSV. The HEAT/HEP/HE ammunition loadout for its weapons remains, but the increased caliber size, barrel length, and turrets allow for the tank to engage enemies at a longer distance than its predecessor. However, the shell velocity should remain poor because of the properties of these rifled guns. Hit-and-run tactics would still be the most preferable option with this tank, in my opinion.
