M113 Fire Support Vehicle

The M113 series was an extremely popular carrier for self-propelled weapons. It provided the basic chassis for a wide variety of fire support vehicle, some of which could be classified as self-propelled artillery, tank destroyers, or light tanks, in both the United States and abroad. The M113 FSV is a combination of various modifications for the M113 featuring guns of less than 90 calibers.

In Australia, the turret from a Saladin armored car, armed with a 76 mm gun, was adapted to the M113A1. A similar installation used the British Scorpion turret with a later model of the same 76 mm gun.

As the guns used fire HE/HEAT/HESH and are rather derpy, this is a light tank that specializes in hit and run tactics. Think of it as a baby XM551. The tank becomes something more conventional however with the Tier IX option, and both serve as introductions to the mixed playstyle of the Tier X.
