M60E3

During the development of the M60A2, four different turret types were considered. The Type A turret would be constructed and then modified and produced as the Type B standard. The Type D turret was basically the M60A1 turret with a shortened bustle. The Type D turret was given serious consideration, seeing as far as a prototype being built. But it ultimately never entered production. The M60A1E1 fitted with this turret was referred to as the M60E3.

The M60E3 is basically an M60A1 with the 152 mm Gun-Launcher. Nothing too special going on here. Of all the vehicles equipped with gun-launchers, the M60E3 certainly has one of the better turrets. An alternative name for this tank would be "XM66 Type D", but I think "M60E3" works just fine.

  2. Are you still willing to work on this tech tree. It’s been a long time since you been on here and I really liked you explaining these tanks, frankly I got a lot of ideas from you. But if you don’t want to continue I completely understand
