MISSION STATEMENT

This website is to serve as a catalog of historical information for various tanks, across various stages of development, created for use by the United States from Pre-WWII through to the 1970s. However, the primary purpose for this website is to illustrate a proposal for what an "endgame" could look like for the US tech tree in the game, World Of Tanks, and to show that there's still plenty of life left to breathed into this game.

My aim is to see as many tanks in the game about tanks as possible, and I hope to show that in a way that respects both the historicity of the tanks shown and the balance of the game overall. As such, I will not be going into great detail on individual statistics. Rather, I will only be showing the possible modules for each tank, changes that could be made to make it more historically authentic, a historical overview, and how the tank's playstyle may be represented in-game. I will also attempt to future-proof this by including alternate hulls, half-tracks, and wheeled vehicles.

This is certainly not perfect and everything is subject to change. This is still a work in progress, and updates are frequent if not daily. This is a fan project and a labor of love. Do enjoy.

T25E1 Test Bed

T25 Pilot #13. Notice the bulbous range finder "ears" on the turret sides.

Eclipsed by the T26E1, the T25E1 was limited to use as an experimental vehicle. This included an early version of the T15 gun, the T14, and a turret with an integrated range finder like those found later on the T37 and T29E3. Many other experimental combinations of armament were proposed, including a design for an early model T29 turret to be mounted on an enlarged chassis with the 105 mm Gun T5E1.

The T25E1 TB uses the same platform of the T25, so we can expect the armor and mobility characteristics to carry over. However, the gun options are more numerous and more powerful, especially for a Tier VIII medium tank. This thing should be considered to play more like a heavy tank.

The stock turret is the #13 Pilot turret with the integrated range finder. The elite turret I'm using the armor values of the M6A2E1, since it appears to be a similar if not identical turret. While the first turret option offers better view range, only the elite turret can mount the powerful 105 mm gun.

While I can't confirm if the M3A1 or T54 were considered for mounting on a T25E1 platform, I think they would be decent additions. The T54 would be the most powerful and accurate 90 mm Gun available at the time. With it, the T25E1 TB should be a good indicator of what to expect from the rest of the branch.
